The Restless Heirs to the Future

To celebrate the 46th Sydney Mardi Gras, the Queen Victoria Building is honouring the next generation of changemakers in the community.

Together, we’re celebrating the unique stories of these boundary pushers, as their restlessness for a better future creates long-lasting change.

BENJAMIN LAW

Benjamin Law is a writer and broadcaster whose work you may be familiar with. Growing up gay and Asian in coastal Queensland in the ‘90s means Benjamin knows the world can be a somewhat uncomfortable place, and it’s a story shared by many.

So, whether he’s writing for stage, the screen or the page, Benjamin uses his imagination to get people to empathise with stories like his, that they might not otherwise encounter.
